The automatic backflushing filter AutoFilt® RF3 has proven its reliable performance successfully for many years in a wide range of different industries. The new backflushing filter series – AutoFilt® RF5 – a new budget-priced filter series with a cost optimized geometry – offers the same reliable filter performance in a variety of applications.
The function of the AutoFilt® RF5 is similar to the AutoFilt® RF3:
The fluid to be filtered flows through the slotted tube filter elements of the back-flushing filter, passing from the inside to the outside.
Contamination particles then get collected on the smooth interior of the filter elements.
As the level contamination increases, the differential pressure between the contaminated and clean sides of the filter increases.
When the differential pressure reaches its pre-set value, back-flushing starts automatically.
